The Hamilton Project

The Hamilton Project©

The flight surgeon’s holographic AI assistant.

Preparing for long haul,

Exploration Class Space Missions (ECSM).

The space environment is harsh on the human body, data has been collected on a range of physiological changes that occur in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and their effect on the human body.  As humans explore our solar system further, with the prospect of space mining and space colonization, medical care will be an important contribution to help humans survive and thrive in this hospital environment.

In modern medicine and particularly in the scenario of trauma, surgery and  general practice a team approach has developed.

In space however, there is a very real prospect of a single doctor amongst the crew, workforce or settlement.  Exploration Class Space Missions (ECSM), off world mining operations and space colonization will require embedded flight surgeons, space doctors and medics.

The Hamilton Project’s© workable AI interface will have the advantage of synthesizing consensus second medical opinion for a range of medical conditions.

The Hamilton Project© will travel with flight surgeons and space doctors, decreasing their clinical isolation, providing important treatment alternatives, and help provide clinical solutions in remote and isolated conditions.

A secondary objective of The Hamilton Project is to provide space flight operators and engineers with precise power/mass/volume calculations concerning medical equipment, testing devices and consumables required for functional and autonomous remote and isolated clinics.

Use your knowledge to shape future care needs, contribute to tomorrow’s medical care: rural, remote, space exploration.  Medical practitioners (clinicians) from around the world  are encouraged to share their knowledge, expertise and experience, to help shape treatment choices.

Participation in The Hamilton Project©  is free and CPD certification will apply.  You are required to create a personal, password protected account, secure internet access, and provide a copy of your current registration for where you practice.
