The space environment is harsh on the human body, in fact it could be said that the space environment is attempting to kill humans at every opportunity.

Data has been collected on a range of physiological changes that occur in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and their effect on the human body.  As humans explore our solar system further, with the prospect of space mining and space colonization, medical care will be an important contribution to help humans survive and thrive in this hospital environment.  In modern medicine and particularly in the scenario of trauma, surgery and general practice a team approach has been developed.  In space however, there is a very real prospect of a single doctor amongst the crew, workforce or settlement.  Exploration Class Space Missions (ECSM), off world mining operations and space colonization will require embedded flight surgeons, space doctors and medics.

The Hamilton Project™ has designed a workable AI interface, with holographic projection, that will have the advantage of synthesizing consensus, a second medical opinion for a range of medical conditions.

The Hamilton Project™ will travel with flight surgeons and space doctors on a different range of missions, from colonizing the Moon, to Mars and future Exploration Class Space Missions (ECSM). This will decrease the sense of isolation for our future colleagues, whilst providing important treatment options, alternatives, helping to provide clinical solutions in remote and isolated conditions.

A secondary objective of The Hamilton Project™ is to provide space flight operators and engineers with precise power/mass/volume calculations, relating to medical equipment, testing devices and consumables, required for functional and autonomous remote and isolated clinics.

Use your knowledge to shape future space care needs; contribute to tomorrow’s medical care: rural, remote, and space exploration.

Medical practitioners (clinicians) from around the world  are encouraged to share their knowledge, expertise and experience, to help shape treatment choices.  Participation in The Hamilton Project™ is free, and CPD certification will apply, on completion of your case, your will receive a CPD certificate.

Three Easy Steps

Step One:  You are required to create a personal, password protected account, with secure internet access; and Step Two: Provide a copy of your current registration for where you practice (PDF of your registration will be required);

Step Three: Our Project Managers Dr Mark Biernacki and Dr Mina Arsanious will review your registration, access to the database will be via the website portal, requiring another level of secure password.
